Kara Janke is a public health professional with career experience in crisis care, mental and behavioral health, and nonprofit operations. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, along with minors in Bioethics and Social Justice. She earned her master’s degree in Public Health from University of Wisconsin-Madison where she also received her Graduate/Professional Certificate in Global Health. Kara is passionate about advocating for mom's health and wellness, as well as promoting education and awareness regarding perinatal mood disorders. Kara currently lives in Appleton with her husband, two cats, and two dogs. Her favorite methods of self-care include reading, painting, baking, and playing with her pets.
